Resolution season, hold our beer!
Because YAP is back with a whole new game plan for 2025.
Ok, you know the drill.
January hits, and suddenly everyone's an aspiring life coach with a 12-month masterplan.
But here's the thing: while others are busy writing resolutions they'll forget by February, we've been quietly building something different.
In 2025, we're flipping the script.
No merch drops. No random affiliate links. No sponsored posts from brands we don't believe in.
Instead, we're taking everything we've learned about growing this newsletter and reinvesting it into one simple goal: delivering the most valuable content you'll find in your inbox. Period.
Think more case studies. More insider interviews. More actionable insights. And yes, we're expanding beyond just email - but keep scrolling to see what we mean...
So, in today’s newsletter:
4 hours. Our entire strategy process. For free. (Yes, we might be crazy)
How we're making money in 2025 (Without making you mad)
- Stanley, CEO
4 Hours. Our Entire Strategy Process. For Free.
Want to know how we plan social media strategies for some of the world's biggest brands? For the first time ever, we're opening up our playbook.
Join me, Jony, and the TAS team on 24 January for an exclusive 4-hour workshop where we'll help you build your entire 2025 social media strategy from the ground up.
No theory, just our actual process – the same one we use with our clients. We'll work with you to map out your content pillars, crack your brand voice, and build a realistic posting schedule that won't burn you out by March.
The best part? It's completely free.
Think of it as our way of starting 2025 by giving back to our community.
But fair warning: we've never done this before, and honestly, we might never do it again.
Spots are limited (because we want to actually help everyone who joins), so grab your spot now:

How We're Making Money in 2025
Most newsletters make money by serving you ads from anyone that will pay them. And honestly, when we started this journey, that was our goal as well. But I think we can do better—so here’s our new plan.
Ok, let's be transparent about our numbers: Last year, we experimented with running ads from the Beehiiv network.
The result? We made $2,000.
Not bad for a first try, right?
Well, here's the full picture: This newsletter cost us $104,000 to produce last year, and we're planning to invest at least that much again in 2025.
Sure, we could push more ads as we grow. But that's not the path we're choosing.
Instead, we're taking a different approach. This newsletter is powered by The Attention Seeker, and our real goal is to show you what we're capable of, no aggressive selling needed.
We believe that delivering genuine value will naturally bring the right clients our way.
One good client covers our entire newsletter cost for an entire year.
Will we still run ads? Sometimes.
But only for tools we actually use in our business. Our editor, Charlotte, will keep testing things that might genuinely help you.
And if you're not looking to become a client? That's absolutely fine.
Keep reading, keep learning, keep sharing.
That's all we ask.
Otherwise, when you’re ready to work with us, you’ve got 3 options:
Full-Service social media management - For marketing managers and business owners. (Email —> [email protected])
Join our weekly Cohort meetings - Lifetime access to our team, perfect for small businesses. (Learn more —> I want to join Cohort)
Personal LinkedIn brand building - Our journalists write 3-5 posts for you weekly for $999/month (January special). (Start as soon as tomorrow —> email us here.)
What's next for YAP?
We're reinvesting everything back into making this newsletter better. We're hiring another writer to support Sophie and expanding The YAP Podcast with Abdel.
(Btw, are you a marketer and want to be on the podcast? Click here —> Bring me on the podcast.)
Ok, that’s everything from me for now. Roll on 2025!
